Get ready for a night of flag-waving fun as the Last Night of the Proms returns to The Concourse in 2026 in honour of the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra’s 60th anniversary season. Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Dr Nicholas Milton AM is Master of Ceremonies in this beloved tribute to the festive finale of the world’s largest classical music festival, for which the orchestra is joined by the Willoughby Symphony Choir and Willoughby Band, presenting a program of vibrant favourites alongside popular classics – with plenty of opportunities to sing along.
Experience stirring performances of Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance marches, Parry’s glorious hymn Jerusalem, Handel’s rousing ‘Hallelujah’ Chorus and Tchaikovsky’s bombastic 1812 Overture and much more, in a concert extravaganza that will have you on your feet.
